These are a variety of portraits that Ethan has created in different styles, these demonstrate the dedication towards replicating vintage or in some cases dark imagery. These were done using primarily high contrast harsh lights on the model in question. This was done in order to capture the qualities imbued within the individual that is incredibly difficult to capture within a brief moment of a camera lens.
The final photograph is of a more surrealist and spiritual nature as it seeks to not only form the individual themself, a friend Chris, alongside this to elevate a certain ghastly sensation that is only possible through analogue photography. We coordinated a lighting set-up filled with harsh light to curate a sense similar to that of mysterious and uncomfortable ghost photography that typically occurs in the places of warmth, the home.
